Sam Katz, founder and executive producer at History Making Productions, will talk about his incredibly diverse project activities including three new films released or to be released in 2026 (Boys to Fame, In Pursuit: Philadelphia and the Making of America and Soul of the City: Philadelphia's Musical Century), his role as the Middleton Family representative in the soon to open American art exhibition at PMA and PAFA, A Nation of Artists, his organizational work in creating and Leading the Histories Collaborative of Philadelphia, his extensive activities associated with the Semiquincentennial and, if time permits, his engagement in defeating the proposed arena in Market Street East. Sam's long association in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania politics will also provide grist for the mill.
